Obituary of Charles Thomas Stanley

Charles Thomas Stanley, of Waxhaw, NC, formerly of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 87 years. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War where he was stationed at the Japanese Logistical Command at Johnson Air Base in Japan as an anti-aircraft artillery and air warning officer. After the military, Charles worked for RC Allen and then Ericsson for many years until he retired to North Carolina in 2000. Beloved husband for 31 years of the late Katherine F. (nee Geer) who passed away in 2007. Devoted step-father of Rick Deerfield and Jami Deerfield. Cherished grandfather of Mary-Katherine Deerfield and Michael Deerfield. Adored uncle of Kathy, Karen, and Eileen. Dearest brother of the late Eileen Weith. The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14th at 8:30 AM. The Funeral Mass is 9:30 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park with interment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 - 8 PM.
