Jackeline wrote these lines to you days after knowing that you returned to the mysterious origin of life. I have always known you as a woman of mettle with courage and determination to take on great challenges, always walking forward. Tu familia motor fundamental, tejido tierno de afectos y seres que fuiste viendo crecer, que fuiste regando como un jardín para verlos florecer, como seres humanos independientes, allí donde sembraste tu mejor amor y el más incondicional, luego vinieron tus nietos que adorabas y amabas sobre todas las cosas, una vez estuvimos visitando a tu mami que ya había partido y fuimos a reverenciarla allí en su última morada. Ahora ya nos estas y no logro entenderlo, no lo comprendo, la impresión y el dolor me han golpeado. Desde mi corazón abrazo a tus hijos, desde mi recuerdo de momentos compartidos junto a ti y junto a ellos ,lo único que puedo decir que fuiste siempre una gran madre, una gran mujer emprendedora y que lograste tener éxito a pesar de circunstancias y muy a pesar de tu temprana partida. Hoy te recuerdo quiero agradecer de nuevo tu amistad, tu consejo, tu solidaridad infinita para conmigo y por ende con mi familia, gracias por darme a conocer la calidad humana y el calor dominicano, tu comida, tus sabores, tu cultura realizaste el crossover y decididamente lograste engranar y saber cómo se vive y como se lucha en Estados Unidos y tuviste éxito. Mujer de decisiones. Solo pido para ti en estas circunstancias paz a tu alma a tu espíritu, que donde te encuentres en ese cielo maravilloso y azul estés al lado de los seres buenos, como tu madre. A tus hijos Jeniffer, Derrick, Danny toda la fuerza del mundo para sobrellevar este dolor mucho amor, mucha resignación frente a lo inexplicable, mucho amor para con sus hijos, para defender y llevar adelante tu legado como homenaje póstumo a tu lucha, a tu amor y a tu esfuerzo.
